Day 1: Tashkent → Samarkand

  • 06:30 – Transfer to the railway station in Tashkent.
  • 07:28 – Departure for Samarkand by high-speed train Afrosiab.
  • 09:38 – Arrival in Samarkand and meet the guide & driver.

Start sightseeing program in Samarkand (6 hours):

  • ⚜️ Gur Emir Mausoleum – burial vault of Timur the Great, decorated with gold ornaments and considered one of the most significant places in the world.
  • 🏛️ Registan Square – the heart of Samarkand and a masterpiece of Central Asian medieval architecture (Ulughbek Madrassa, Sherdor Madrassa, Tilla Kori Madrassa).
  • 🕌 Bibi Khanum Mosque – the largest medieval building in Samarkand, one of the most magnificent mosques of the 15th century.
  • 🌟 Shakhi Zinda Necropolis – a unique complex of mausoleums formed around the cenotaph of Abbas ibn-Kussam.
  • 🛍️ Samarkand Bazaar – Siyab.

Resting time in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Samarkand → Bukhara

  • Meet the driver at the hotel in Samarkand.
  • 09:20 – Transfer to the railway station in Samarkand.
  • 10:30 – Departure for Bukhara by high-speed train Afrosiab.
  • 12:20 – Arrival in Bukhara. Driver meets with a signboard “Touristic Services and Guidance”.
  • Transfer to the hotel located in the historical city centre of Bukhara.
  • Meet the guide and start walking sightseeing tour in Old Bukhara.

Walking sightseeing program in Bukhara:

  • 🌊 Ensemble Lyabi Hauz – Nadir Divanbegi Madrassa, Khanaka, Kukeldash Madrassa, and the monument of Khodja Nasreddin.
  • 🕌 Magoki Attari Mosque – one of the oldest mosques surviving in Bukhara from pre-Mongol times.
  • 🛍️ Abdullakhan’s Tim – handicraft stores with souvenirs, ceramics, clothes, and carpets.
  • 🏛️ Caravanserai Saifuddin – now a Center of Handicraft Development.
  • 🛒 Covered Bazaars (Trading Domes): Toki Sarrofon, Toki Telpak Furushon, and Toki Zargaron – centers of silk, jewelry, and money exchange since the 16th century. Still vibrant markets today.
  • 📖 Ulugbek & Abdulazizkhan Madrassas – paired madrassas facing each other, famous for their ornamental decoration.
  • Poi Kalon Square – Kalon Minaret, Kalon Mosque, and Mir Arab Madrassa – the monumental heart of Bukhara.

Day 3: Bukhara → Tashkent

  • Free day in Bukhara.
  • 14:45 – Transfer to the railway station in Bukhara.
  • 16:15 – Departure for Tashkent by high-speed train Afrosiab.
  • 20:30 – Arrival in Tashkent.
  • Driver will transfer to the hotel in Tashkent.
  • Rest time at the hotel.

Day 4: Tashkent → Chimgan → Amirsoy → Charvak Lake

  • 09:00 – Meet the guide at the hotel lobby. Drive to Chimgan mountains.
  • Enjoy the picturesque area, high hills of Chimgan and Amirsoy.
  • Cable car at Amirsoy or Chimgan (open one).
  • Drive to Charvak Lake. Lunch at a local café.
  • Return to Tashkent. Dinner at a traditional restaurant.
  • Rest at the hotel.

Day 5: Tashkent City Tour

  • 10:00 – Meet the guide at the hotel lobby. Start sightseeing in Tashkent.
  • 🏛️ Amir Temur Square – founded in 1882, renamed in 1994 in honor of Amir Temur.
  • 🌳 Broadway Park.
  • 🇺🇿 Independence Square – main square of Uzbekistan with fountains, government buildings, and Eternal Flame.
  • 🕊️ Earthquake Memorial – devoted to the 1966 earthquake and reconstruction heroes.
  • 📚 Islamic Civilization Center – Barakhan Madrassah, Kaffal Shashiy Mausoleum, and the original 7th-century Koran.
  • 🛍️ Chorsu Bazaar – historic bazaar with iconic blue dome.
  • 🚇 Tashkent Metro – opened in 1977, each station uniquely decorated.
  • Transfer to hotel or Tashkent International Airport.
  • End of the tour.
